The vision for Kerman Christian School began in 1993 with a group of Christians - most of them educators - who wanted to provide a quality education based upon a firm foundation in God's Word. The school started in 1994 with kindergarten through third grade. The school added classes each year, and now we offer preschool through sixth grade. Our non- denomination campus is located adjacent to Kerman Covenant Church, and new buildings were constructed in 2003.
Statement of Faith
We Believe:
The Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
There is one God, eternally in three persons; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.
In the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His Lordship over all of life, and His personal return in power and glory;
In the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation, that the Holy Spirit indwells the believer;
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation
In the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
Education Goals
The Christian educated person begins knowing God is the source of all wisdom but the highest knowledge of all is to know Jesus Christ. A Christian educated person must try to understand and appreciate peoples and cultures. He/she begins knowing all people are objects of God's love, to be brought to personal knowledge of Jesus Christ. A Christian educated person must be able to read well, speak and write clearly, and handle comfortably both logical concepts and basic mathematical skills. He/she begins knowing that the highest call is to communicate the message of Jesus Christ to others.
