Goals of a Christian School

Our goal for the Christian preschool is that the children will experience growth spiritually
and academically.  By keeping the needs of the preschoolers in focus, we will facilitate
that goal.

A preschooler's world opens up in new ways as children improve coordination, learn
complex games, and begin to interact more with others.  Children learn by doing, and at
Kerman Christian School, your preschool child will strengthen his or her cognitive skills
with plenty of hands on activities.

Our curriculum is organized into theme based units that address complex topics that
encourage children to develop their skills and confidence.  Each unit incorporates
language, math, science, creative art, music, motor skills, and social development.

Classes Available

Our preschool program has been divided into separate classes:  a traditional class and
two pre-kindergarten classes.  There is a wait list for a two year old class.  Information
about these classes is available in the office.

Preschool is designed for children ages 3 through 4 with age-appropriate curriculum.
The children in preschool are exposed to many things, including, but not limited to the
following: listening skills, exposure to letters and numbers, language arts, crafts and
social skills.

Pre-kindergarten is for children eligible to go into kindergarten the following school
year.  They must turn five by December 1 the following year to be eligible for Pre-K.  This
class is more academically challenging.  Basic math concepts are introduced, letters
and their phonetic sounds are taught along with Heritage and Science.
